We cut these very full through the thigh and hem to give the linen blend room to move. The vertical stripe runs straight down the wide leg, broken only by dropped side pockets. An elastic waist with an adjustable drawstring anchors the generous rise.

• Wide stripe pattern. Broad bands of black and soft pink run vertically down each leg. The print follows the straight grain of the fabric, lengthening the visual line across the wide hem without breaking at the front seam.
• Gathered drawstring waist. We set an elastic band into the top casing and added an external cord. You can pull the waist snug or let it sit lower on the hips to adjust where the hem brushes your shoes.
• Dropped side pockets. The pockets sit lower on the hip than usual, adding slight volume at the sides. They are deep enough to hold daily items without pulling the outer seam out of true.
• Linen blend care. Wash this linen blend on a gentle cycle in cool water or hand wash without bleach. Line dry in the shade to protect the pink stripe, and run a steam iron across it while still damp.
