We cut these loose with an airy linen blend that softens after washing. The waist uses an elastic band backed by a drawstring, letting the silhouette pool down through a dropped rise into a wide leg. Lake blue and white checks run straight down the grain.

Elastic waist and tie. An encased elastic band sits at the waist, secured with a dyed fabric drawstring. The waistband gathers the full cut of the leg without pinching.
Dropped harem volume. We dropped the rise and widened the leg to give the linen room to drift. The silhouette flares through the mid-leg before settling near the ankle.
Side pocket placement. Deep inset pockets sit directly in the side seams below the gathers. They hang clear of the hip line so the plaid check stays aligned.
Linen blend care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Hang the fabric to air dry away from direct heat to preserve the weave.
