We cut these loose with an open palazzo leg that runs straight from the hip down. The linen blend keeps the cloth light and lets air through during warm months. A soft elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring anchors the rise without binding.

• Wide palazzo cut. The leg runs wide and straight from the hip down to the hem. This generous cut gives the linen room to swing as you walk, keeping the fabric away from the leg.
• Adjustable elastic waist. We built the waistband with a broad elastic core and an external tie drawstring. It sits comfortably at the waist and stays put without pinching.
• Dropped side pockets. Deep side pockets sit along the side seams below the gather. They are cut roomy enough for small essentials without distorting the outer line of the pant.
• Linen blend care. Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water, or wash by hand. Hang the pants to dry to help the woven linen soften naturally over time.
