We cut these pants with wide legs and a low-slung pocket line to let the linen hang straight down. The waistband pairs a soft elastic tunnel with an adjustable front cord. Vertical rust-red and beige stripes run from hip to hem, breaking up the volume.

Wide palazzo leg. The leg runs straight from the hip down to a wide, ungathered hem. Linen vents heat naturally while the generous width keeps the fabric away from the leg as you walk.
Drawstring waistband. We set a flat drawstring inside an elastic casing so the band rests flat without pinching. You pull the cord to set where the waistband sits on your hips.
Dropped side pockets. Two deep side pockets sit low along the seam so your hands rest naturally inside. We anchored the pocket bags to the side seams so they stay flat inside the leg.
