We cut these pants wide through the thigh and hem for plenty of room. The linen blend cloth carries a woven stripe in black and neutral beige that breaks naturally as the fabric moves. An elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring sits easy on the waist without binding.

• Elastic drawstring waist. We built the waistband with a broad elastic channel and threaded it with an exterior drawstring. You can cinch it tighter or let it sit lower on the hips without losing the gather.
• Wide harem leg. The cut borrows room from palazzo and harem silhouettes. It falls straight and loose from the hip down to a wide open hem, giving the linen blend space to vent warm air.
• Dropped side pockets. Two deep pockets sit low along the side seams. We dropped their placement slightly to accommodate the slouch of the cut without pulling the side lines out of true.
• Woven stripe care. The black and beige stripe softens with regular wear. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in cool water, skip the machine dryer, and hang the cloth to dry naturally.
