A soft corduroy with moderate thickness gives these high-rise pants their structure and warmth for cooler days. We gathered the waist over a wide elastic band and added a front drawstring so the fit stays put. The wide legs bow slightly through the calf before falling straight to the hem.

• Corduroy floral cloth. The ribbed texture brings out the deep wine and blue print across the weave. It holds enough body to support the wide barrel shape without feeling stiff when you walk.
• Gathered high waistband. We anchored the high rise with a wide elastic channel that sits flat against the waist. An adjustable front drawstring lets you tighten the gather as needed throughout the day.
• Side drop pockets. Two deep front pockets sit flat along the hip line. We set them deep enough for hands and everyday items without pulling on the side seams.
• Cold water wash. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle or by hand to protect the corduroy ribs and print. Lay flat to dry in the shade and avoid bleach.
