We cut these barrel trousers from ribbed corduroy with enough weight to hold its shape through the cooler months. The high rise gathers on an elastic waistband threaded with a matching drawstring, so the fit sits flat without pinching. Jujube red gives the fabric a rich, grounded finish.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg bows outward from the hip before tapering slightly near the ankle. This curved volume keeps the fabric off your calves while maintaining a clear, rounded silhouette from front to side.
• Drawstring waistband. A wide elastic band sits high on the natural waist. We added an adjustable drawstring through the casing so you can tie it tight or leave it loose over heavier winter tops.
• Deep front pockets. Two front pockets sit flat against the hip and run deep enough for your hands or a phone. We topstitched the pocket openings to keep them from pulling out of line as you move.
• Corduroy wash care. Machine wash cold or hand wash to protect the ribbed pile of the cloth. Lay the trousers flat in the shade to dry so the corduroy keeps its soft texture and the waistband holds its stretch.
