These pants take their volume from a relaxed harem rise that widens through the thigh before falling loose to the hem. We chose a pale yellow vertical stripe on an airy linen blend that softens after washing. The waist pulls in with an enclosed elastic band and an adjustable cord.

Gathered drawstring waist. An elastic channel anchors the top without cutting into your middle, backed by an exterior tie cord. You can knot it high or let the trousers rest lower on the hip.
Harem volume and rise. The crotch sits low to give the legs room to billow. The fabric arches out through the upper leg and falls straight to a wide, ungathered bottom hem.
Dropped side pockets. We set deep hand pockets into the outer side seams below the gather. They hang flat against the linen blend so the vertical yellow stripes stay aligned down the leg.
Linen blend wash care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool water or wash by hand. Hang the trousers to air dry away from heat to keep the weave soft, and skip the dryer entirely.
