We cut these with plenty of room through the thigh and seat, tapering slightly toward the ankle in a soft barrel shape. The light purple and white plaid is yarn-dyed rather than printed onto the surface, so the weave stays soft. An elastic waist with a functional drawstring keeps the fit secure.

• Elastic waist and tie. The wide waistband holds flat with internal elastic and an adjustable fabric drawstring. It sits comfortably at the natural waist without pinching or rolling down when you sit.
• Barrel leg cut. Volume starts wide at the hip and carries through the lower leg before pulling in gently at the hem. This shape keeps fabric off the calves while letting air move.
