Blue and white vertical stripes run down a roomy barrel leg that tapers slightly toward the ankle. We cut this pair from a linen blend that lets air move through the weave. The waistband gathers with elastic and ties with a matching drawstring to sit where you prefer.

• Leg shape and volume. We cut the legs wide through the thigh and let the cloth bow outward slightly before settling at the ankle. The dropped rise gives the silhouette its loose harem profile without pulling across the seat.
• Drawstring elastic waistband. An encased elastic band keeps the waist flat against the body while the front drawstring allows quick adjustments. You can wear it high at the natural waist or pull it down lower on the hips.
• Dropped side pockets. Two deep side pockets sit slightly lower along the outer seam so they do not push fabric out at the hips. They lie flat when empty and hold small items securely when you move.
• Fabric and wash care. The woven linen blend softens as it is worn and washed. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or wash by hand in warm water, then line dry to keep the blue stripes crisp and avoid shrinkage.
