We cut these with plenty of room through the seat and thigh before letting the leg drop straight to the ankle. The purple and white woven plaid breaks up the wide silhouette. An elastic casing with a self-fabric drawstring anchors the top securely without pinching.

  • Wide harem leg. The pattern gives the seat a low hang and opens into a full, roomy leg. Air moves freely through the open linen weave while you walk.
  • Drawstring waist. An elastic channel sits flat against the waist. We threaded an adjustable fabric tie through the front so you can set the tension where you want.
  • Dropped side pockets. We set deep pockets directly into the side seams below the gathers. They sit flat when empty and hold small items without pulling the waist down.
  • Linen wash care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool or warm water, or wash by hand. Hang the pants to dry to preserve the weave and keep the fabric soft.
