We cut these loose through the thigh and seat with a soft barrel shape that bows slightly before falling straight to the hem. The linen blend holds its line while letting air move through the weave. Red vertical stripes run top to bottom, set off by a gathered waist.

Waistband and drawstring. We set an elastic band through the casing and added a front drawstring so you can adjust where the rise sits. It pulls in evenly without bunching the red stripes out of alignment.
Barrel leg shape. The pattern gives extra volume around the mid-leg before settling near the ankle. It borrows the ease of a harem cut while keeping the clean hem of a wide palazzo trouser.
