We cut these high-waisted shorts with a wide, shirred waistband that gathers softly and holds without pinching. The woven Lyocell blend is light, airy, and drops straight through the leg. Rose and white vertical stripes run clean down to a simple turned hem.

  • Shirred elastic waist. Rows of narrow smocking create a wide, flexible band that sits high on the waist. It pulls on easily and stays settled without a drawcord.
  • Lightweight Lyocell blend. The weave feels smooth against the skin and vents warm air. It washes soft, drapes cleanly away from the thigh, and keeps its shape after drying.
  • Side pockets. Two slash pockets sit along the side seams. We anchored them flat inside the gather so they carry small items without bulging or weighing down the hem.
  • Cold wash care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to preserve the rose stripe and fabric weave. Hang dry or tumble dry low. A quick steam smooths out packing folds.
