We cut these wide-leg pants from lightweight linen that softens with every wash. The legs finish in curved hems that open into high side vents to let air move freely through the cloth. A drawstring elastic waist keeps the fit steady without binding.

  • Wide leg with side slits. The leg falls straight and wide from the hip, then splits high at the outer seam. The rounded hem panels overlap as you walk so the fabric swings clear of the ankles without catching.
  • Drawstring waistband. We gathered the waist on an elastic band and threaded it with an adjustable self-fabric cord. It sits flat around the middle and holds position without digging into the waistline.
  • Rust dot print. The pattern sets crisp white dots across a warm rust-red ground. The linen weave shows through the dye, giving the print a soft, matte finish that avoids shine under bright sun.
  • Fabric and wash care. Lightweight woven linen breathes easily and softens after water hits it. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand, line dry in the shade, and steam press while the cloth is still slightly damp.
