We cut these wide palazzo legs with high side splits so the fabric clears the ankle and vents air as you walk. The linen is light and woven with soft rose and off-white stripes. An elastic waistband with an adjustable drawcord keeps the fit loose across the hips.

Leg cut and split hem. The wide palazzo shape finishes in a rounded cropped hem with open side slits. That opening lets the linen billow like a split skirt when you move while keeping the separation of a trouser.
Elastic drawcord waist. We gathered the top edge with an encased elastic band and a self-fabric drawcord. You can tie it high on the waist or drop it lower on the hips without altering the drape through the seat.
Rose stripe linen. Woven from lightweight linen yarns in alternating rose and white bands. The weave has a soft hand, softens further after washing, and lets warm air pass straight through the fabric.
Washing and care. Wash by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in cool water. Hang the pants on a line to air dry instead of using a dryer. Use a steam iron if you want the stripes flat.
