We cut these loose with an open, airy leg and a soft drawstring waist. The twill flange accents in orange and gray give the seams definition without adding bulk. The fabric is a light linen blend that vents heat and softens up after washing. Deep side pockets sit flat against the hip.

• Leg cut and volume. The legs drop wide from the hip down to a full hem. We kept the profile spacious so air moves freely around the ankles. The twill flange seams trace the outer edge to help the loose shape hold its line.
• Waistband and drawstring. A wide elastic band sits high on the waist without binding. We added an adjustable flat cord through the front so you can set the tension where you want it. It stays in place while you walk.
• Side pockets. Two dropped side pockets sit deep enough to hold a phone or keys. We stitched them directly into the side seams so they do not bulge outward or pull on the light linen blend.
