We cut these loose through the hip and thigh, letting the linen twill drape straight down before tapering slightly toward the hem. The elastic waistband pulls in with an exterior drawstring so the rise sits where you want it. Side pockets sit deep into the outseams.

• Waistband and rise. An elastic waist with a woven drawstring lets you adjust the high rise. It gathers the cloth evenly across the top, keeping the cut secure without binding when you sit or bend.
