We cut these with generous volume through the hip and thigh, falling straight to a wide floor-clearing hem. The high rise gathers on an elastic waist with an exterior drawstring for quick adjustment. Side pockets sit deep into the outseam so the fabric stays flat across the front.

Leg and hem. The legs drop wide from the gathered waist, carrying ample fabric through the knee down to an uncinched hem. The open opening lets air move freely while you walk.
Waistband construction. We set a wide elastic band inside the high rise and threaded an adjustable drawstring through the front. It stays in place without pinching or twisting during wear.
Dropped side pockets. Two deep pockets are sewn directly into the side seams below the gather. They hold small items securely without pulling the outer drape out of line.
Fabric and wash care. This lightweight linen blend softens further with wear. Wash on a gentle cold or warm cycle, hang to dry naturally, and press with a steam iron to release wash wrinkles.
