We cut these with an exaggerated leg that balloons past the hip and tapers slightly toward the ankle. The linen blend feels light, vents warm air, and softens with wear. An elastic waistband with a working drawstring keeps the high rise anchored without pinching.

• Barrel leg cut. We gave the legs full volume through the thigh and calf, dropping the crotch slightly before pulling the hem inward. The cut stays away from the skin so air moves through the linen blend as you walk.
• Elastic drawstring waistband. The wide band sits high on the waist with gathered elastic that stretches easily. A self-fabric cord lets you cinch the fit or wear it loose, keeping the gathered fabric distributed evenly across the hips.
• Coconut Leave print. The tropical leaf pattern is printed across the pale base cloth, breaking up the wide panels of fabric. As the linen blend wrinkles through the day, the pattern takes on a broken, soft texture across the legs.
• Washing and care. Wash by hand or run on a gentle machine cycle in cool water without bleach. Hang the pants up to dry out of direct sun, and use a steam iron while the fabric is slightly damp to ease out hard fold creases.
