We cut these with deep volume through the hips and a dropped rise that borrows from classic harem trousers. The linen blend keeps its open weave so air moves freely around the legs. An elastic waist with a functional drawstring anchors the top without binding.

• Harem leg volume. The leg runs generous from the high rise down through the thigh before falling into an open hem. It gives the fabric room to billow and settle with movement instead of clinging.
• Elastic drawstring waistband. We gathered the top onto a wide elastic band and threaded it with a self-fabric drawstring. You can pull it snug or let it sit lower on the hips as the day goes.
• Dropped side pockets. Two deep pockets sit low on the hips where the side seams widen. They are cut large enough for a phone and hands without pulling the silhouette out of square.
