We cut these bloomers wide through the leg and pull the volume back in at the calf with gathered lace hems. The lightweight linen blend stays cool in warm weather. A soft dot pattern in lake blue and white covers the whole piece, finished with a tie waistband and side pockets.

  • Gathered lace hems. The leg finishes below the knee with a gathered cuff and a wide band of cotton lace. The gathers hold the balloon shape in place while letting air move freely around the lower leg.
  • Waistband with tie. We built the waist with an encased elastic band that stays flat against the skin. An external fabric tie lets you adjust the tension without pulling the front out of shape.
  • Lake blue dot print. The lake blue ground is stamped with white dots across the full cut. The print softens as the linen blend washes down, giving the fabric a faded, lived-in surface over time.
  • Pockets and wash care. Deep side pockets sit along the hip seams to carry small items without distorting the drape. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water, avoid bleach, and tumble dry on low heat.
