We cut this bloomer with generous lantern legs that billow through the calf before gathering back at the ankle. A wide lace ruffle finishes each hem. The linen-blend weave keeps the structure crisp while allowing air through, finished with an adjustable waist tie and deep side pockets.

  • Lace trimmed cuffs. The lower hem gathers into a band and finishes with a wide panel of vintage-style lace. It sits loose around the lower calf and holds the bloomer shape without clinging to the skin.
  • Gathered lantern leg. We cut extra room through the thigh and knee so the fabric balloons softly. The volume stays away from the body and drapes down to the gathered hem.
  • Waistband and ties. The waist pulls on easily and secures with functional front tie straps. You adjust the tension yourself, leaving the midsection free from tight pinch points.
  • Care and washing. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or wash by hand in cool water. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry, and press with a warm iron if you want the lace flat.
