We cut these bloomers with a wide balloon leg that gathers back above the ankle. The linen blend is light and open, finished with a soft band of lace along each cuff. A simple drawstring waist sits flat across the front while deep side pockets hold daily essentials.

  • Gathered lace hem. The wide leg tapers into a gathered cuff trimmed with an open lace ruffle. This construction anchors the balloon volume down the calf, allowing the fabric to billow gently without dragging along the ground.
  • Drawstring waist. We built the waistband with an adjustable front tie that lets you set the rise where you prefer. It stays flat against the waist and adjusts easily without stiff bulk or pinching.
  • Linen blend drape. The lightweight linen blend keeps an airy, open weave that vents warmth in high heat. It softens with each cycle through the wash, developing a relaxed rumple across the lantern silhouette.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or wash by hand in cool water. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to preserve the lace trim, and use a warm iron if you prefer a smoother finish.
