We cut these lantern bloomers with generous volume through the thigh that gathers back inward above the ankle. The linen blend keeps the drape airy while holding the lantern curve. A tier of gathered fabric and delicate lace finishes each lower leg.

• Leg cut and taper. The leg widens through the calf before gathering back into a tapered lower hem. That lantern shape keeps fabric away from the lower leg while settling softly around the ankles.
• Lace and ruffle cuffs. Each hem finishes with a gathered ruffle topped by a band of airy lace trim. The detail gives weight to the bottom of the cut so the leg holds its rounded bloomer profile.
• Waistband and tie. An elastic waist pulls on smoothly and stays flat against the body without pinching. We added functional front ties so you can adjust the tension across the top edge as needed.
