We cut these pants with a generous barrel leg that bows out through the thigh and eases back in toward the ankle. The corduroy cloth holds steady warmth for cooler weather while keeping a soft drape. An elastic waistband with a matching drawstring keeps the fit easy across the middle.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg widens through the thigh before tapering slightly at the bottom hem. This shape leaves plenty of room through the seat without dragging around your shoes, letting the corduroy fabric hold its rounded line.
