We cut these blue pants with a curved barrel leg that balloons gently through the thigh and tapers slightly at the hem. The corduroy ribs add structural weight and hold warmth for cooler days. An elastic waistband with an exterior tie cord keeps the rise easy and resting where you prefer.

Curved barrel leg. The leg arches outward around the knee and settles back inward toward the ankle. This shape keeps fabric off the calves while preserving the loose silhouette of a relaxed trouser.
Elastic drawstring waist. We built the waistband with a wide internal elastic band and added a flat front drawstring. You can knot it loosely or tighten it down without gathering heavy bulk around your middle.
Ribbed corduroy weave. The fabric features classic vertical wales that trap air and block chilly drafts. It has enough body to hold the barrel profile without feeling rigid against the legs.
Deep side pockets. The side pockets are sewn deep into the side seams so small everyday items stay put. They sit flat when empty and do not disrupt the line of the hip.
