A rounded barrel leg gives this cold-weather pant its shape. We cut the corduroy loose through the thigh, bowed it gently through the knee, and gathered it back in slightly toward the hem. An elastic waist with a functional drawstring keeps the fit easy without pulling.

Barrel leg cut. The leg curves out wide around the knee and tapers subtly at the ankle. This creates room through the thigh and calf while keeping the hem neat around your shoes.
Corduroy fabric. We use a soft-ribbed corduroy that holds warmth in cooler weather. The ridges give the dot print extra texture, and the cloth softens with repeated washings.
Adjustable elastic waist. An elastic channel sits flat against the body, supported by a matching fabric drawstring. You can cinch it tighter or leave it loose depending on how you layer underneath.
Cold wash care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to keep the corduroy wales raised. Avoid bleach.
