We cut these with an arched barrel leg so the volume bows out through the knee and tucks back in at the ankle. The corduroy ribs hold heat through colder months while keeping a soft, pliable hand. An elastic waist with a functional drawstring lets you settle the rise where you want.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg widens away from the hip, reaches its fullest point around the knee, and pulls inward toward the hem. This shape keeps the hem off the ground and gives the thick corduroy room to bend without pulling.
• Drawstring elastic waistband. We gathered the top block on a wide elastic band and ran a flat cord through the casing. You can cinch the waist tight for a higher rise or let it sit lower on the hips for a looser seat.
• Slanted side pockets. Two deep front pockets sit flat against the hip line. We stitched them deep enough to carry your phone or keys without distorting the curve of the outer leg seam.
• Care and print. The white dot pattern is printed directly onto an army green ground with fine corduroy ribs. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, skip the bleach, and tumble dry low to preserve the texture of the ridges.
