We cut these with volume through the thigh that bows out and tapers back toward the ankle. The linen blend keeps the silhouette light without collapsing flat. An elastic waist with a drawstring holds the rise where you set it, finished with dropped pouch pockets.

Barrel leg shape. Tucked pleating seams create the curved line through the leg. The volume sits wide through the middle and gathers in slightly at the lower hem so the fabric clears your shoes.
Green check weave. The green and white plaid is woven into the linen blend rather than stamped on top. The fabric softens with each wash, letting heat vent through the open structure.
Waistband and rise. We built an elastic waistband backed with a flat drawstring. It pulls on quickly and stays in place without pinching, letting you wear the rise high or settled on the hips.
Dropped pouch pockets. Deep pouch pockets sit low along the side seams to carry small items without pulling the front pleats out of shape. Machine wash gentle in cool water and line dry.
