We cut these with generous volume through the thigh that bows out and tapers gently toward the hem. The linen and rayon blend has a soft, substantial drape that settles without clinging. A drawcord sits inside the elastic casing so the waist stays where you tie it.

Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows outward through the leg and pulls back in slightly at the ankle. Tucked pleating along the seams gives the cut its rounded profile while keeping the hem clean.
Elastic waist and cord. An elastic band runs the full circumference with an exterior drawstring through the front. It pulls tight without bunching the fabric excessively across the hips.
Dropped pouch pockets. We set deep patch pockets low on the front hips. They sit flat when empty and hold small items without pulling down on the waistband.
Linen wash care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool water or wash by hand. Hang the trousers to dry away from direct heat and press with steam to release wrinkles.
