We cut these trousers with an outward curve through the leg that narrows back in above the shoe. The linen and rayon blend has a soft, dry hand that lets the volume pool without stiffness. A flat drawcord anchors the gathered waist.

Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows wide through the calf and pulls back slightly at the hem with subtle tuck pleating. That curve keeps the fabric clear of the ground while holding space away from the leg.
Drawstring waist. An elastic band runs the full circumference of the top seam, backed by a functional cord. You pull it tight or let it sit lower on the hips without binding.
Dropped pouch pockets. We set deep patch pockets low on the front hips rather than inside the side seam. They sit flat against the leg and carry weight without distorting the outer line of the pant.
Linen wash care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water, then hang them straight to dry. Skip the machine dryer. A quick pass with a steam iron resets the weave and softens the line.
