We cut these green pants with volume through the thigh and a subtle taper down toward the ankle. The linen and rayon weave is light, with enough weight to let the pleated seams hang straight. A wide elastic waistband fastens with a matching flat cord.

Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows out through the leg and pulls in slightly at the bottom hem. Tucked pleats along the seams give the sides their rounded curve without adding bulk at the waist.
Waistband and rise. We built the top with an elastic core and an external drawstring to set the rise where you want it. The band sits flat against the skin without digging.
Dropped pouch pockets. The front pockets sit low on the hips and anchor into the side seams. They are deep enough for a phone and cut wide so they do not pull open when you walk.
Washed green cloth. Linen blended with rayon softens the hand and reduces stiff creasing while letting heat vent. Wash on a gentle cold cycle, skip the machine dryer, and hang them in the shade.
