A wide leg cut from a linen and rayon blend that bends around the calf and tucks back toward the ankle. We set deep pouch pockets into the sides and ran an elastic drawstring through the top. The blackgreen stripe runs vertically down the loose leg to settle the silhouette.

Curved barrel leg. We gave the outer seam extra width through the knee and tucked the volume back with pleating seams near the hem. The leg hangs away from the calf rather than falling straight down.
Elastic drawstring waistband. The wide waistband pulls on without hardware. An enclosed elastic band holds the rise where you set it, and the flat drawstring lets you knot the fit close to the waist.
Linen and rayon weave. Rayon softens the dry hand of linen without robbing the cloth of its loose hang. The weave breathes openly in warm air, wrinkles softly as you sit, and settles back after a steam.
Washing and line drying. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in warm water. Skip the tumble dryer and hang the trousers damp so gravity pulls the stripes straight and smooths the fabric.
