We cut these trousers wide through the thigh and calf, then finish the ankle with a gathered ruffle. The woven coffee and white check gives the light linen blend a bit of structure without stiffening the leg. An elastic waist with a drawstring keeps the rise where you set it.

  • Ruffle hem cuff. A gathered band at each ankle creates the ruffle hem, adding weight so the wide leg falls straight instead of bunching as you walk.
  • Elastic drawstring waistband. The wide waistband holds flat against the waist with an encased elastic band and a matching cord to secure the fit.
  • Linen blend check. The yarn-dyed coffee and white check is woven into a breathable linen blend that vents heat and softens through repeated washings.
  • Care and maintenance. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Hang to dry away from high heat and press with a steam iron.
