We cut these wide-leg palazzo pants from a lightweight linen blend with a clean vertical black stripe. The volume runs straight down from a flexible gathered waist into a flared ruffle cuff at the hem. Deep side pockets sit flat along the hip.

Elastic drawstring waist. We built the top with an enclosed elastic band and a matching cord tie. It sits high on the waist without digging in, letting you adjust the gather and pull the pants on without hardware.
Wide leg with ruffle hem. The legs drop wide from the hips and finish in a gathered frill cuff. That added lower panel weights the hem, which keeps the leg open as you walk and lets air move through the bottom.
Linen blend fabric. The open linen-blend weave vents heat during warm weather and softens with every wash cycle. It carries the black stripe cleanly while keeping a relaxed, slightly rumpled drape throughout the leg.
