We cut these cropped trousers with generous width through the thigh and leg so the fabric hangs clear of the skin. The waistband pairs a soft elastic casing with a self-fabric drawcord. A vertical light khaki stripe runs straight down to a split hem that vents air as you walk.

Elastic drawstring waist. We built the top block with an elasticated waistband and threaded an adjustable drawstring through the front. The band sits flat against the hips without digging, giving you an easy pull-on fit that stays put throughout the day.
Split cropped hem. The legs finish above the ankle with an open wrap split along the outer seam. This cut breaks the wide palazzo hemline, allowing the linen fabric to move freely and release trapped heat in warm weather.
Linen blend weave. We use a lightweight linen blend that softens after every wash while keeping its crisp vertical stripe. The weave breathes easily in summer heat, drying fast when hung up out of direct sun.
Wash and care. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in cool water without bleach. Hang the pants to line dry instead of running them through a heated dryer. A quick pass with a steam iron smooths out hard wash creases.
