We cut these cropped trousers with a wide leg that borrows its ease from harem pants. An elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring anchors the rise. Side wrap splits at the lower hem give the light grayblue striped linen blend extra movement as you walk.

• Elastic drawstring waistband. The gathered waist uses a wide elastic band backed by an exterior cord. You can knot it loosely or pull it snug, keeping the rise sitting level across the hips without binding.
