We cut these cropped pants with a generous palazzo leg that borrows the ease of a harem shape. The linen blend keeps the fabric light, while an elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring anchors the rise. Split cuffs let the hems move freely around the ankle.

• Elastic drawstring waist. We set a wide elastic band through the waist and added an exterior cord. It lets you adjust where the trousers sit without pinching the hips or bunching the linen blend awkwardly.
• Wide split leg. The cut drops loose from the hip into a wide palazzo shape. We split the outer side of each cropped hem so the fabric shifts naturally when you walk.
