We cut these blue palazzo pants with a slouchy harem rise and an open, cropped leg. The linen blend is light and lets air move through the weave. An elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring anchors the top, while overlapping split hems give the wide legs extra swing as you walk.

• Elastic drawstring waist. The waistband combines an enclosed elastic band with a flat matching tie. You can set the rise high or let it rest lower on the hip without pinching.
• Split cropped leg. We widened the leg past the knee and added an overlapping split hem at the ankle. It keeps the fabric moving freely and lets heat vent out.
• Slouchy harem cut. The dropped crotch gives the seat plenty of room without pulling across the back. Two deep side pockets sit flat along the seams for keys and small items.
• Linen blend care. Wash by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in cool water, then line dry away from direct heat. A light pass with a steam iron resets the weave.
