We cut these gaucho pants with a wide, cropped leg that falls loose around the calf. The stretch fabric hangs straight without clinging, and the elastic waistband uses a flat drawstring so you can adjust the pull. Two deep slant pockets sit flat against the hip.

Wide cropped leg. The leg opens wide from the hip down and finishes at a cropped hem well clear of the ankle. That extra volume lets air move freely as you walk.
Drawstring waistband. An elastic band gathers the waist evenly all the way around. We threaded a flat front tie through the casing so you can reset the tension as needed.
Side slant pockets. We set the pockets into the side seams, angling the opening so a phone stays put when you sit. The bags stay flat and do not bunch.
Rust red colour. The rust red shade carries warm, earthy undertones that pair easily with undyed linen or dark knits. Machine wash in cold water and hang to dry.
