We cut these gaucho trousers with generous volume through the thigh and calf, finishing well above the ankle. The jersey knit holds enough weight to fall straight rather than cling. A flat drawstring waistband anchors the top without binding.

Wide cropped leg. The leg widens directly from the hip down to an open, level hem. That extra width lets air move freely around the calf while keeping the fabric clear of shoes.
Drawstring waistband. We set a broad elastic band into the waist and threaded it with an exterior cord. You can cinch it high or let it rest lower on the hips as you like.
Side pockets. Two slash pockets sit along the side seams. We stitched them deep enough to hold keys or a phone without pulling the waistband down on one side.
Dark gray knit. The soft, stretchy knit has a matte finish in solid dark gray. Wash it cold on a gentle cycle and dry flat so the hem keeps its square shape.
