We cut these gaucho pants with a wide leg that falls straight from the hip to a cropped lower calf hem. The soft stretch knit sits light against the skin and moves easily through the stride. An elastic waist with a functional drawstring lets you adjust where the rise rests.

Wide leg cut. The leg opens wide from the upper thigh down to the cropped hem, creating plenty of volume around the calf. It hangs clean without clinging.
Drawstring waist. We gathered the top onto a wide elastic channel and ran an adjustable cord through the front, so the rise stays set without pinching.
Slanted side pockets. Two deep pockets sit along the side seams. We stitched them flat to the interior so they carry keys or a phone without pulling down the silhouette.
Soft jersey care. The fabric has a smooth knit surface with built-in stretch. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and line dry or tumble on low heat to keep the shape.
