We cut these gaucho culottes with generous volume through the thigh and calf, finishing well above the ankle. The elastic waistband includes a working drawstring so you can adjust the rise as you move. Soft knit jersey gives the wide hem weight so it falls straight rather than clinging.

Wide cropped leg. The leg opens out from the hip into a full gaucho profile that hangs away from the calves. A turned hem gives the lower edge weight to maintain its wide shape.
Drawstring waistband. We built the waist with an encased elastic band that stays flat against the skin. An integrated pull cord lets you tighten or slacken the hold across the middle.
Deep side pockets. Two inset side pockets sit along the forward seam to keep small items secure without pulling the hip out of alignment. They lie flat when empty.
Knit jersey cloth. The fabric has substantial crosswise stretch with a soft, smooth face. Machine wash cold with like colours and hang to dry to keep the drape intact.
