We shaped these cold-weather trousers with a distinct horseshoe curve through the leg. The volume bows out across the thigh and narrows back in at the hem. A ribbed corduroy build holds warmth without the rigid bind of heavy denim, anchored by a gathered elastic waist and a thick rope cord.

• Barrel leg cut. The pattern arcs outward along the outer seam and tapers slightly at the ankle. This creates a slouchy, rounded silhouette that leaves the knee entirely free to move without dragging on the floor.
• Elastic drawcord waist. A wide elastic band sits high on the waist to distribute tension evenly. We threaded a heavy cotton rope through the casing so you can tie it snug or let it sit loose.
• Cargo patch pockets. Deep utility pockets sit flat on the front thighs, cut wide enough for cold hands or daily items. We stitched them down with reinforced seams so they keep their shape over time.
