We cut these sweatpants wide through the thigh and rounded down toward the hem so the cotton blend holds its shape without clinging. The high waistband uses encased elastic with an exterior drawcord. You get deep side pockets and a clean, plain khaki finish that washes easily in cold water.

• Wide barrel leg. We gave the legs a bowed shape that leaves space around the knee and calf. The fabric has enough body to keep that rounded line rather than collapsing flat against your leg when you walk.
• Drawstring high waistband. The waistband sits high and flat against the waist. We gathered it with wide elastic and added an exterior cord so you can adjust the tension when the pockets are full.
• Cotton blend fleece. The knit blends cotton with polyester for a smooth face and a soft interior. It holds warmth on cool mornings and resists pilling through regular wash cycles.
• Slanted side pockets. Two deep front pockets sit along the side seams. We stitched them flat so they stay open for your hands without ballooning out the side profile.
