We cut these sweatpants wide through the thigh and calf, borrowing volume from a classic barrel shape. The knit fleece sits easy against the skin without clinging. Deep coffee brown gives the heavy cotton blend a clean, grounded look for cooler mornings.

• Elastic high rise. The pull-on waistband sits high on the waist with a wide band of interior elastic. It stays flat against the middle without binding when you sit.
• Barrel leg shape. We gave the legs extra room through the knee before bringing the cut back in toward the bottom. The fabric pools lightly over flat shoes without dragging.
• Side seam pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, deep enough for keys or a phone. We anchored the pocket bags so they lie flat against the hip.
