We built these sweatpants with volume through the thigh that tapers slightly toward the hem, giving a relaxed barrel line. The knit fabric holds its shape without binding at the knees. A wide elastic waistband stays in place through the day, resting high on the waist.

• Wide high waistband. The wide waistband uses encased elastic that lays flat against the torso without pinching. It sits high on the natural waist and keeps the pant secure without drawstrings.
• Barrel harem leg. We shaped the leg with extra width through the hips and thighs, then bowed it slightly toward the lower ankle. It leaves plenty of room for walking and resting.
• Cotton blend knit. The knit combines cotton and synthetic fibres for a smooth face and a soft inside. It resists surface pilling and keeps its drape after steady wear in cool weather.
• Deep side pockets. Side seam pockets sit deep enough to carry a phone and keys without pulling the waist down. The openings lay smooth against the hips when empty.
