We cut these sweatpants with a relaxed barrel harem shape through the thigh and calf, dropping into a wide hem. The high waistband pairs thick internal elastic with a working drawstring so the fit stays put without pinching. In solid black, the dense cotton blend holds its drape without clinging.

• Elastic drawstring waist. A wide elastic band sits high on the waist, backed by an adjustable drawcord. It anchors the top securely so the volume of the leg can hang freely without pulling down.
