We cut this duster wide through the shoulders and body so it falls loose without catching. The sheer white linen blend keeps it light over swimsuits or tank tops. We added a front tie, gathered lantern sleeves, and deep pockets at the hips.

• Tie front and cut. An open front closes with narrow fabric ties across the chest. The body is cut broad and slouchy, giving plenty of room through the torso and falling past the hips into a tiered pleated ruffle.
• Lantern sleeves. The sleeves are cut wide through the arm and gather into elastic cuffs at the wrist. You can push them up your forearms or leave them long without the fabric dragging.
