We cut this slouchy kimono from a light linen blend that hangs loose from the shoulder down to a gathered lower tier. The front closes with simple ties, and the long sleeves pull in at the wrist with soft elastic casings. It gives you an easy layer over basic tops or swimsuits.

• Slouchy body cut. The shape is wide and unhurried through the torso, leaving plenty of room across the shoulders. A ruffled bottom tier weights the hem so the fabric hangs straight rather than clinging.
