We cut this duster long and slouchy from a lightweight linen blend that lets air through. It falls open or ties loosely at the front, with lantern sleeves gathered into elastic cuffs so you can push them up your forearms. Two pockets sit set into the side seams.

• Front tie closure. We set slim fabric ties at the front so you can pull the duster closed or leave it hanging loose. The relaxed cut stays wide through the chest and torso without pulling against the ties.
• Lantern sleeves. The sleeves are cut wide through the arm and gather into soft elastic cuffs at the wrist. You can push them up to the elbow, and the gather holds its shape without pinching.
• Ruffled lower hem. A gathered tier runs along the lower hem, giving the linen blend enough weight to swing as you walk. The extra fabric keeps the drape loose around the ankles.
